I have a quick and easy post for you today – not much happened in the studio last week as I was not feeling well, but I have a golden oldie for you and of course I photographed my (almost empty) work top.
To start with, the golden oldie layout – lifted from one of my old scrapbook albums.
(I don’t create ‘traditional scrapbook layouts’ anymore but every Wednesday I dive into my albums and lift a ‘golden oldie.’ The layouts I pick are random, YOU – blogreaders – name the number of the album and layout to show.)
This request came from BJ and she asked me to open album one and show layout #3
This layout was made using a challenge at ScrapMojo – some of you scrapbookers may remember that challenge blog? I played quite a lot with their challenges when I first started blogging… in fact, ScrapMojo was the reason I started a blog… but I will tell you about that a next time.
Here’s the photo of my workdesk for this week… as I said, not much going on in the studio.
There’s only a scrap of paper and the plastic folder with cut out words on my desk. I made a card for my bff earlier this week (oops, I forgot to take a photo) and I searched through that folder to find a nice word to glue on the card.
This is why I made the card…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LENA
Lena from Six Lilies Studio is my best friend since primary school and today is her special day!
She also is a wonderful artist – so now that you are all blog hopping anyway, I recommend you make a detour and visit Lena’s blog to view her amazing paintings and wish her happy birthday!

Desk depressingly tidy, hope you feel ready to create a little chaos soon.
How fun to see your old layouts! Is that you in the photo? Love the journaling around the edges! Happy Birthday to Lena!!!
