…in my bookcase.
And I don’t mean all the poetry books that are stored there,
but poetry in the titles.
Even haiku!
In zee, twee jongens
Engelen van het duister De schaamte voorbij |
In the sea, two boys
Angels of darkness Past the shame
|
I did not get the right number of syllables when I translated the titles
to English, but it is a real haiku in Dutch. I discovered even more haiku
on the shelves, so this ‘book-haiku’ is to be continued. Let’s see how far
I can come with it…
‘Written’ (uhmmm, I mean found) for Haiku my Heart Friday
Rebecca publishes the list of participants on Recuerda Mi Corazon)
I had a bit of a lack of Mojo last week. It seems like my Muse went
on vacation or maybe she’s fast asleep… nothing good came out of my hand.
I tried to force it, but even my weekly Chronicles page came out bad.
Not the journaling itself, mind you, but I just don’t like how this spread looks.
Ah well… let it be. I hope my Muse knocks on the door when I start working
on the next page.
The Chronicles of Marit – Week 42
Sooo… instead of whining over lost creativity, I turned to the computer
and put my mind on something else…
THIS:
Yep, I set up my own Facebook page.
Pfew – finally.
I’m ‘one of the gals’ now.
And do you see that?
I got one (1) like!
I know who that is.
My son is my biggest fan!
Feel free to give that number a boost and make it 2, 3, 4, if you LIKE.
Now have a nice weekend y’all… with lots of likes and love!

I think it is pretty cool that I could translate the first line without knowing a word of Dutch ๐
(but with poor German knowledge)
I think week 42 looks lovely!

Found it and liked it straight away!

Ga zo even je feestboek bekijken.

Perhaps your muse if off partying, gathering fuel for the next creative explosion ?
I am sure that is it.
I will join your FB page. “Talking” to you feels good in all of its forms. I still dream of meeting on your Dutchie beach one day…
Happy Friday, Amazing One !

Leuke haiku!

You may not have felt inspired but your page is beautiful nonetheless.

Mijn “like” is nummer 25!

I think my muse has wandered off with her. Maybe it’s Muse vacation season?
You’re up to 26 now ๐
P.S. you may like my latest post….

I’m impressed–not only book poetry, but also haiku–now that’s really difficult. But so tempting to try. . . .
