Tiny journal, Chronicles and woyww #772

March 20, 2024 By Marit 14 Comments

Goodmorning lovelies! It was fun to visit you – the round of desks – last week and since I have this day off of work again I join in once more to show what I’m up to and what my desk looks like this morning.

WOYWW #772

Last week a friend of mine came over and now that I refurbished my atelier there’s room for two to sit at my table. We spend the whole day together creating up a storm and it was so much fun! She decorated her phone case (it’s a pity I didn’t take a photo…) and I created the tiny journal that lays on my desk. I worked on the pages some more over the weekend and here’s the finished little thing.

It was a productive weekend ’cause I also created a spread in my Chronicles art journal

Chronicles art journal – Week 11

There is another spread on the way and I am playing with the idea of making an old-fashioned scrapbook layout again so there’s plenty to do in the coming days, but first I will visit your desks today. Thanks for visiting mine, enjoy your day!

How sweet is that tiny journal. You have given me an idea, maybe I can do something like that whilst sitting with my leg up. Thanks Marit,
As always I love your chronicle pages.

ps all I did was fall on the floor at home. I was turning around and next thing I was on the floor with broken ribs and an almighty gash on my knee. That was way back16th January.. Because it was basically a hole it has to heal slowly from underneath and not scab over.

What a fabulous tiny book! And fab you could work with a friend. I enjoy the Chronicles and with I had the sticktoitivness (It’s a word for sure!) to do similar. But lately I have just too much on my plate. Your hint of scrapbooking interests me too – say more!
    Happy WOYWW!

I Absolutely love your tiny journal. So lovely to craft with a friend. To explain what I was doing – It’s probably confusing the way I tell it 🤣. Basically I was using up some file folders that seemed to absorb the glue as soon as I had coated it, then since my husband rubbed down my squares a little harshly I decided to varnish over the backs of them too. Trouble is, varnish won’t take glue so the two sides would not stick together, hence the need to go over everything with gesso. Happy WOYWW Angela #8

Your tiny journal is awesome! I loved working in my tiny journal – it took 2 years to finish! So much fun to have someone over to play, my room is way too small for that! Sorry I’m late this week, I have a tiny window today where I can look at everyone’s blogs! Have a great week, Lindart #19
