… of you: for leaving me all those lovely birthday wishes last Tuesday.
… of you: for visiting the FEATURING website and facebook page,
and being enthusiastic and of course for buying the magazine.
… of Josie George: who wrote this cheering blogpost.
… of fireplaces in the house (which I have not) and cuddling up
in a blanket (which I have) now that Autumn perseveres.
..
Here’s to shorter days, fire places and sipping tea while
hanging on the couch reading an inspirational magazine!

Because I had a bit of a different post last Tuesday, I did not
show you the Chronicles spread on that day.
This is the art journal spread I made for week 39.
The Chronicles of Marit 2012 – Week 39
(Size: 24,5 x 49 cm โ 9.65 x 14.86 inch)
Yesterday I played with little scraps of paper and left overs…
I had not made ATCs in a long time and I suddenly felt like it!
Everything in its right place
I have this old book (in English) with fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen.
One of the stories is called ‘Everything in its right place’ and this line keeps on
coming back in the story, so I cut out three of these lines to use on my cards.
I think it makes a nice series this way, don’t you?
Some people just write their names on the back of an ATC, but I like to
pay attention to the back as much as I do to the front of the cards.
That’s all for today dear ones… thanks for stopping by.
I wish you all a beautiful and creative weekend.
To hell with wind and rain, bake a cake!

I love this time of the year with the temperatures getting cool, the colours, the smells. A blanket and a fireplace sound good to me.

Cuddling up on the couch with a fire going and a warm blanket to wrap around you sounds so comforting.
We have a woodstove at the cottage but not at home, I have slept in front of it many times ๐ Your ATC’s are lovely. The 3 of them go together very nicely and I like how you do that backs of them as well.

Oh my friend ๐
I didn’t make it in time for your birthday. YOU know I know when your birthday is!! It is 1 day after Carl. And, today my large son is 16!! ugh. where is the time going? Not just for my baby getting older, but I am losing touch with dear friends like you!!
You are a beautiful artist my friend, always have been. I so love visiting your creations!!
And, I have been hunting the stores for an ATC stamp like yours! I can’t find one. I will have to look online, but not today! Today, I catch up with my blog friends!!
Hope you had a wonderful visit with your family, and the happiest of birthdays!!
