If you didn’t visit my blog since last Monday, you probably are surprised. Yes, my blog looks different (you can read all about the how and why HERE) but don’t worry, the content remains the same.

So, as can be expected on Wednesdays, it’s time for yet another photo of my desk for What’s On My Workdesk? Wednesday.ย  As usually, my desk looks organised… I am that way you know, organised. I DO have a messy space in my atelier though, so as a treat (and to prove it, because you might not believe it if I just say it…) I made a photo of my messy space too.

(WOYWW is a weekly blogseries/hop hosted by Julia in the United Kingdom and lots of crafty people share photos of their desks every Wednesday.)

Here’s how my desk looked this morning

WOYWW #294

woyww#294a

That’s right… to the left is a page I’m working on for The Documented Life project. You can join The Documented Life project for free and I think it’s fun and inspiring! Each month there’s a “theme” and each week an art related challenge as well as a fun and creative journal prompt. I like that I am free to interpret the prompts however I wish so, besides my weekly “Chronicles”, I’m also working on TDL pages now. Creating with prompts in a journal ‘on the side’ is a nice complement to the Chronicles. Any ‘deskhoppers’ working on The Documented Life challenges too? Let me know!

And now for the “mess”… well, I have seen other spaces during the desk-bloghop that show much more mess, but to me this is messy: my closets!

I did not label this photo – there’s just too much laying there – but if you have any questions: shoot!

woyww#294b

More closets are planned – we took them with us when we moved – but those are still stored in the shed and need to be cleaned and assembled. Until then, I just pile my stuff in two rows which isn’t always effective but it works for now.

And that’s it for today folks… other desks around the world are waiting for my visit. See ya!

I like the new look, Marit, very clean and simple. And I don’t think your closet is messy at all! In fact, it looks very functional to me! Your journal spreads look fantastic – I hope to catch a closer look next time! Perhaps I’ll see your DLP page on Facebook! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #52 (right behind you!)

Love the look of your documented life journal, sounds like fun.
Thanks for popping by already. I’m off to catch that boat right away so put the kettle on, it’s been snowing here all day and is absolutely freezing!!

The closet is messy? I think I could actually find something in that one…unlike mine! I am forced to organize only because my space is very small. The new look to the blog is nice and clean too..like your desk ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy WOYWW! Shel#71

I really like how you label your desk photos, wish I was that organized in my thought process….grin

We all have our own levels of what is tidy and what is a disasterous mess. I don’t really have much room in my craft area, so I try to keep it organized, and I am doing better with the desk top……really I am! LOL

I really am envious of your window, it is low enough to see out while crafting.

    Thanks for visiting earlier

I love your neat and tidy look. Yup, that type of layering is usually an indication that more space is needed. Hope you get your new closet soon!

Thanks for your visit to my blog and for the lovely comments.

Hi there! I really like your new look blog – it’s clean, simple and very easy to read which is great…those handwriting fonts are difficult to make out sometimes! Your shelves are fab too, I know you said they’re only temporary but at least you can see what you’ve got at a glance!
    Thanks for dropping by ๐Ÿ™‚

Very clever the way you can label things on your photo – I will never be able to do that in a month of Sundays.
Love your cubby holes for storage – it all looks so nice.

    Hi Marit,
Yes, your blog is very easy to read with it’s neat, clean lines. I have no idea how to change the look of my blog. I’m sure if I started fiddling with it, it would all just vanish! Your desk looks like there is a lot happening, and I do not think your closet is messy.
Thanks for stopping by earlier. I will do another post soon about that blue handmade book. It was really quite simple. Have a good week.

What a very tidy and organised crafting area. If you think this is messy, then you need to see mine in total. It is nice to have a clear view outside too. Thank you for your visit this week. the water drops are from a set of stamps by Ryn who comes from Canada. She has done a whole series of different water drops which print out so well. I will probably show the whole thing on next week’s blog. Hope you have a good week. xx Maggie #27

Seems that being #1 this week would get me here earlier, but sadly, I’m running far behind. I always enjoy visiting your place because everything is so well detailed. I can see why the second photo would be hard to document, but you can’t possibly think this is messy.

Happy very belated WOYWW and thanks for the earlier visit.
