This is going to be a short blogpost, the way our WOYWW-hostess Julia likes them. I need to get some things done – deadlines and all – and since it’s raining cats and dogs today is the perfect day to ‘slay the list.’
Can you tell this desk was staged? Yes, you can… there was something I don’t want you to see (yet) on my desk so I put that aside to show what the mailman brought last week.
It came in all at once; can you imagine my face seeing the mailbox filled with not one, not two but THREE happy envelopes?! THANK YOU SO MUCH LADIES!
Next is an art journal page/collage that I made for a challenge at the “Dutch Collage Group.” In the Netherlands, there is a retail chain/supermarket where you can take a ‘free magazine’. (For the Dutchies: Albert Heijn’s “Allerhande”) The challenge was to get the montly magazine and create a collage using only the images in the magazine. Here’s my take on that challenge

That’s it for today lovelies… oh wait, one more thing:
The first Quirky Dutch Summer post is online: a tutorial on how to make a journal with canvas cover.
View my former post HERE if you’re interested.
And now I’m really signing off and get to work… thanks for stopping by. See ya!
Happy Mail is so great – glad you liked your little parcel! The mermaid made me smile, her bosoms are extremely perky!!

Ah, Marit, we both have happy mail to show today. Many thanks for your ATC, postcard and leaflet – all fabulous. Love your mermaid – inspired use of the fish tail and salad vegetables – I’ll never look at tomatoes in quite the same way again 🙂 Have a great week. Elizabeth x #26
Lovely happy mail! It must have been so exciting getting all those goodies in the post! The vegetable/fish mermaid is so much fun – very YOU! I’ve started on my QDS project and accidentally left a little clue on my desk when I took the photo, but I don’t think anyone will notice! Look forward to reading all the posts! zsuzsa #20
How strange that all the mail should arrive at once! As you say happy mail!
I love your journal page – the words you have chosen are super – great thinking! What really made me smile were her tomato boobs!
Have a lovely week, hope the rain stops soon.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx
