Remember the faces that appeared on my last art journal page?
I cut out a whole bunch of them at the time and here’s the other page I made
using those shapes. I’m not sure if I like it though. I did when I started working
on it last weekend, but now I’m not so sure.
Oh well, you can’t always have a WOW…

We have come to drawing the winners of my give-away!
Here’s how I did it.
I devided the comments into two groups. Three actually:
the ones who prefered the AJ package (20) the ones who prefered
the scrapbook package (11) and the ones that didn’t make a choice
or liked both – yeah, right… you wish! (7)
The latter were added to the scrapbook-package drawing – to equal
the groups. I ended up with this:

I think that’s a really strong art journal spread, but I find it quite disturbing, to be honest – the faces look so sinister!

I have not been around and writing here as much as I would like. Will try to do better. I fell and broke my shoulder last week. Monday I must have an MRI to see if I need surgery. I love this place. Wish I had a new PC so I could download my art work. Loved your Haiku.

Die slak heb je mooi gefotografeerd! Bij ons kruipen ze op het pad,en dan zo als je ‘savonds thuis komt je er boven op trapt! Zo verrekte zielig!!! Ik vind je art journal wel mooi! Het idee van de hoofden alleen al is geweldig. Gefeliciteerd met je broer!

i love how the snail appears so translucent with the light through his body. you see he is a great adventure who was brace enough to leave solid ground in pursuit of light!
