I have a small vacation this week and looked forward to spending a lot of time in my atelier creating and writing blogposts and all but MAN-O-MAN was it HOT in the Netherlands! Temperatures were just too high to sit in my atelier, in fact it was too hot to do anything but sit still and read a book. Which was what I did. Luckely, temperatures dropped last night so I can spend the rest of the week doing as planned. Not yet though… first I will have to do some cleaning in the house. The rooms cries “vacuum” and the bathroom yells in desperate need for a cleaner cloth and a mop… I will have to answer these request first but after that, I will spend all the remaining time in my atelier catching up on creating my weekly Chronicles spreads.
I have a few to show you from the weeks before though… May and (first weeks of) June: enjoy
Chronicles Week 20
Background with acrylic paint. Collaged figures and a postcard from my dad. Text with paint and (on the right) black marker.
Chronicles Week 21
Acryl paint background. Head cut out from a magazine. Funeral card of my uncle who’d passed away.
Chronicles Week 22
A simple spread: left over gelli plate paper, black acrylic paint, stamps for the ‘week’ lettering and a cut out image.
Chronicles Week 23
Acrylic paint, cut out images and a small photo of the staff outing (showing collegues from work)
Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog still
