Just a quick blogpost on this last day of the month to show you my latest art journal spreads.
Chronicles week 29
A quick and easy spread ’cause the summer came with tropical temperatures and it was way too hot to create or even stay in my atelier… and of course the Tour the France was on the tv so when I didn’t have to work, I spend the warm afternoons on the couch watching the race. Background: orange acrylic paint.
Chronicles week 30
Another quick ‘cycling spread’. More orange acrylpaint and big illustrations.

A little more work-intensive spread: some collage on plain paper and a lot of text.
Chronicles week 32
Week 32 was one to quickly forget… my foot still hurts and I was grumpy all week. A toxic-coloured green/yellowish painted background, some grey/brown paint through a stencil and some ink splattering. The big words are all synonyms for ‘angry’.
Chronicles week 33
The week that an MRI scan of my foot was taken (I had to wait two months for that due to a waiting list!) and a postcard from my son – who was on holiday in the UK – arrived. O, and a picture of Madonna ’cause I bought a new bra and no, not one of those she wears ;D

Moet je nu voor de uitslag weer zo lang wachten als de weg er naar toe? Ik hoop het niet. Ik geniet weer van je nieuwsbrief en je spreads, heel mooi al die tekstpassages. Altijd weer vol inspiratie.
Mijn putdekselproject vordert gestaag. Er komen telkens weer foto’s uit andere oorden binnen, maar het boek heeft nog maar weinig blanco blz. Goed om het een keer af een keer af te ronden.
Hebben jullie het trouwens droog kunnen houden met de regenbuien de laatste tijd?
