I have a lot of cousins and for the first time in our lives, we organized a special “cousin day. It was lovely, fun, emotional, and at times hilarious… by adding fold-outs to my pages I was able to fit a lot of photos on the spread.

The brother of my beloved passed away… the memorial card is in that pocket. I also caught a nasty cold in week 50 (it lasted for two weeks, and I’m still coughing…)

Zo dichtbij en toch hebben we hier in Veere al dagen sneeuw en niet zo weinig!!
Week 52 in mijn kroniekenboek is af, nu nog mijn pasfoto om af te sluiten. Voor het nieuwe boek 2026 ligt het papier al klaar en een mooi blauwzwart stofje, het lijkt wel zijde, voor de kaft. Alleen had ik geen passende bandjes…. Dus weef ik nu wat op mijn bandweefgetouwje in matching colors.
Een boekje gebonden in blauwtinten voor een plaatsgenoot, die iets blauws in haar blauwe keuken wilde.
Ik hoop, dat je verkoudheid snel over is. Veel gezondheid voor dit nieuwe jaar gewenst!
