Now that my blog** (and website) have a new look it is time to share my future plans with you. I hope writing them down here helps me to get my plans more clear and that it will work as a reminder for myself as well… I thought about starting a ‘bullet journal’ to jot down my plans and ideas (as I saw on Michelle’s blog here) but I have too many journals going on already, so I just write everything that comes to mind and that I want (have) to accomplish, down on a piece of paper and stick it to my window-sill. You may have seen those notes hanging there on my Wednesday desk photos already. I updated the notes to get things clearer for myself, here’s a closer look:
So, what’s to see…
- The left notes (skip the yellow sticky) are reminders with dates (deadlines) for art-fairs and an exhibition in the (near) future (the blurred one is not yet to be revealed.) Announcements of the fairs will appear on my website when the dates get close.
- The list in the middle contains all kinds of plans and ideas that I want to work on/accomplish in the next months/year.
For the website/blog: – I plan on sending monthly newsletters with an art tip/tutorial in each letter – I am thinking about a “Quirky Dutch Summer” series again (how does that sound to you? Would you like that?) – I want to write another (on-line) workshop – I have to start looking for a space where I can teach life workshops – I play with the idea to write a book (yep, that’s a big and scary project!) – I have vague ideas for a photo series about light/shadows (I should photograph more)
Personal art plans: – there’s a list of art journals I have going on right now and a list with new ideas for art projects. - On the right are my ideas about writing a book.
Well, there you have it, lots of plans and ideas for me to work on. Some of those ideas may change, some will probably drop off the list over time… we’ll see what happens this year. I choose as a phase of the year “ring the bells that still can ring” so there should at least be some noise, ha!

Working on an assignment takes up a lot of my time lately, my personal art journaling has been put on the back burner but I still manage to squeeze in some free time to play in my art journals. Here’s my latest page
The Chronicles of Marit 2015 – Week 11
So.. do you have any future plans (creative-wise) and do you make lists for it? Are you keeping a ‘bullet journal’ or calender as a reminder? How do you to keep track on your ideas and plans? I’d like to know! I appreciate your visit and comments – as always!
Loving your plans and your page!! Gorgeous!!!
I am doing a huge restructure and I was thinking the other day of doing the same thing until I get my grove on things.
Leuke plannen Marit!
Thanks for the link up to my blog Marit! It looks like you have a system that works great for you and that’s all that matters! You sound like you have lots of exciting things in the works!
Marit, I think that it’s so good to have a visual reminder of the places where we want to focus our creative energy. I tend to do this in Evernote or in a blank, lined journal. I wish you luck in all of the fun stuff ahead!
