Hello to you on on this beautiful October morning lovely ones. Yep, the new month has started and the first days of the month went by like a whirlwind. I baked a cake on Saturday (see this post) and celebrated my birthday on Sunday. Family, friends and neighbors came visit me and some of the presents I received are on the desk today. My desk… ohmy… when I returned to the atelier on Monday I decided to clean it up big time. After all, a year passed by and the layers of dust showed that I had not cleaned properly for at least my entire 52nd year…
I know you are used to my, what you call, ‘neat desk’ but it is even more neat today
See those brush pens? I got those from my bff and I fooled around with them yesterday in my Lettering journal. Nothing fancy to show you yet, just testing the pens on dry and wet paper. I need some more practicing but I do like the bright colors of the ink!
And then there’s two plants in my window sill (which has been rigorously de-cluttered) that a neighbor gave me. I never had plants or flowers in my atelier before and I love it!
I’m working on a new spread in my “Grandes Chaleurs art journal” (on the left at the desk) but have not shown you the last spread. I finished this one a few weeks (o wait, months!) ago.
