Goodmorning lovely ones. It’s been strange weeks as we, in the Netherlands, experienced all sorts of weather in just a few weeks. On February 7 snow began to fall and our world turned white… one week later, people were skating on ditches, ponds and lakes. There was ice-fun for a weekend, then the temperatures rose again and one week later the ice had melted and with almost 20 degrees (68 Fahrenheit) we all could sit outside in the sun… and then the fog came…. how strange this world is!
Friday haiku
geen mens, geen auto, alleen een verre misthoorn doorbreekt de stilte |
no human, no car, only the warning sound of a distant fog-horn |

I submit this haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share a haiku on Friday: Haiku my Heart
After my recovery (see this post) and re-integration I am back to my job at the Zeeuws Archief – I work at that job 3 days a week and the other days are filled with writing lessons, making video tutorials and teaching my online KRONIEKEN workshop. There is, however, time left to go for a walk every now and then (I have to build up my fitness and energy levels) and even to create in my art journal and draw (see here and here) Busy days indeed, but I enjoy every minute of it!
I am a bit behind in creating my weekly ‘Chronicles’ spreads but here are the ones I created up till now.

I hope you enjoyed seeing some art journal pages again, thanks for stopping by!

Even though I cannot read them, I can see your art journal pages are wonderful, and that they have made you, as well as others, happy. They did me. Your haiku photo…oh my. It looks so cold. I can hear the foghorn.

I’m thankful for all the “fog horns” that warn me of danger on my path.

The best walks (at least for me) are the ones I take alone: no people, and definitely no cars zooming by!
